Bailey’s Café is a space of community healing and belonging — a secular church, a home, a kitchen table. Bailey’s welcomes all with an open heart, compassion and love, generating a culture of belongingness, non-judgment, acceptance, community, and space to be your full self. This is Bailey’s unique value.
Cumbe is a home for African and Diaspora dance and music. Through our donation-based dance & music classes along with cultural programs, we invite everyone to feel the joy and vitality of rhythms rooted in Africa. Each donation helps to support our mission to make African-rooted dance and education accessible to everyone, regardless of economic background.

Bed-Stuy Artists in Residence, Okema T. Moore and Sekiya Dorsett, lead the I Love Bed-Stuy Heroes Project Joy Station, an interactive storytelling initiative celebrating the people shaping Bedford-Stuyvesant. Participants are invited to nominate a community changemaker and create a personal symbol of joy rooted in care, hope, and transformation.
Reciprocate (formerly known as Barter Block) is a community-driven, Brooklyn-based platform and mutual aid network where local neighbors exchange skills, services, and everyday goods without using money.
Congreg8, a community hub tent activation that doubles as the anchor point for a block-wide scavenger hunt connecting partner tables and stoops. The full card has around 14 hints across the block party stations and the Art Crawl. Tiered redemption at Congreg8 (5/7/10 stamps), with the ultimate prize being a Reciproc8-sponsored induction to the Von King Cultural Arts Center.

Brooklyn Movement Center is a grassroots Black-led organization dedicated to building solutions to ensure Bright Black Futures for residents in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brownsville and Crown Heights.
This summer, we are building connections and community power with residents of BedStuy, Brownsville and Crown Heights. We aim to learn more about the issues we are facing and to help build our collective strength to fight economic displacement, food and housing insecurity, environmental threats and more. We will be engaging community members around the idea of the Past, Present and Future of Central Brooklyn. We will ask folks to share a powerful Brooklyn memory, a current community challenge, and/or a dream for Central Brooklyn’s future.
The Friends of Jackie Robinson Park Playground (FOJRPP) provide citizen leadership for Jackie Robinson Park Playground to break the cycle of disinvestment in our community. We do this by fostering an uplifting, positive, inclusive, and safe space for recreation and green space for residents of the surrounding neighborhood. We support access to low-cost/free tennis for community members. We uplift youth by supporting healthy intergenerational relationships. We work with our community to reduce violence in the area through non-carceral efforts.

Uncommon Schools is a community where students feel loved and nurtured so they can be their best each and every day. Our teachers infuse joy and academic rigor into every day, ensuring all students are prepared to succeed in college and beyond.
During the STooPS Summer Festival Uncommon Schools will provide snacks, beverages, school supplies, and offering on-the-spot applications.
